Outside of my full-time job, I build websites and web applications for companies and organizations.
I also enjoy learning new tools and experimenting with ideas.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Dickinson College admission staff were unable to attend in-person meetings at high schools and college fairs where they would usually have a viewbook available. In order to assist them while meeting remotely, I worked with staff members to develop an online, virtual version of the viewbook.
Worked with the owner to create the overall look and feel of the website, implemented by designing and developing a custom Wordpress theme.
I had previously worked with Compassion Animal Hospital to develop their internal network and when I found out that they were opening a second business I asked if I could develop their website. I designed and developed their website when the business first opened, unfortunately the business had to close due to COVID-19.
The Messiah Village Shuttle Tracker was a project I worked on at Messiah Lifeways. Executive Staff at Messiah Lifeways were looking for a way to track the Campus Shuttle, however when working with third party companies we had found that the solutions they suggested were costly. I found a device that plugs into the On-Board Diagnostics port of the shuttle which supplied data via a Resful API and was able to plug that data into a Google Map via VueJS.
The Sherman's Valley Heritage Days is an annual event in my hometown. I was looking for information about the event when I came across their antiquated website. I reached out to the maangers of the event to find out that their previous web developer had disappeared on them and they haven't been able to perform any updates to the site in quite some time. I donated time to create a low-cost staticly hosted website. I also provide updates as needed to the site.
The Pathways Institute for Lifelong Learning is a sub-organization of Messiah Lifeways. I worked with the internal marketing team to develop a redesigned and much more up-to-date version of the website.
The Sync is the intranet site used at Messiah Lifeways. It is used to provide team members a centralized location to news and updates about Messiah Lifeways, as well as links to any internally used applications and documentation.
